SETI INAF MEETING 2019
Two years after the first SETI-INAF Meeting ever (held at Monte Mario Observatory in Rome in October 2017), the next SETI-INAF Meeting will be held at Monte Mario Observatory again on Wednesday, September 25, 2019.
The discovery of new exoplanets (part of which are earth-like), the constant technological progress and faster and faster computers available nowadays are forcing us to consider both new equipments and new signal extraction algorithms just unconceivable until recently.
We thus plan to hold a review of all SETI improvements about both radio and optical SETI with both INAF and University-level Researchers.
At the Meeting end, the possibility of creating an official INAF-SETI Program with adequate funds will be discussed.
The whole meeting will be held in English, whereas final discussion will be held in Italian.
